10 - Dr. Evil(Austin Powers): This guy is funny as hell. He's a typical villain who wants to take the world hostage for money. He makes great songs, has diabolical, yet dimwitted henchmen, and comes up with the most creative ways to destroy the world. He has the power to make every volcano erupt, melt the polar ice caps and other evil things. His main cause for awesomeness is Mojo, which makes him a funny, yet energetic enemy.

9 – Aries(God Of War): Aries IS the God Of War. After the spartan lord Kratos prayed to be spared by an army of barbarians, He trained Kratos to not only to be one of the biggest bad asses in video game history, but forged him for the best gameplay I've ever seen. He has also tricked Kratos into slaying his own family which scared our hero for life. He is also one of the most fun an epic bosses in video game history. He also toucher's you psychologically during the final fight.

8 – Imhotep(The Mummy): Once a High Priest of a Pharaoh, he has been sentence to death by mummification for the crime of having affairs with the Pharaoh's wife. In Egypt he labeled the number one villain. If there is one thing I hate about zombies is how brainless and slow they are, while mummies are brainless, slow and raped in fresh bandages. Unlike the first Mummy movie, Imhotep is accurately rotting from the inside out and can move worth a shit. The animation is brilliant, especially for it's time. He can make himself look more and more human with every liver person he sucks dry. His motivation is to resurrect the Pharaoh's wife, then rule the world together.

7 – Sharrakor(The Seventh Tower): Sharrakor is from a race called the Aenir. After the “Chosen” race defeated them in war. He was believed to be the empresses strongest guard, but plots to lead Aenir into war once again, then cast all other races into Oblivion. Sharrakor's form is that of a towering dragon with the intellect to command armies, manipulate the Chosen's government. He can also control others, his host for most of the story was the empress's most trusted servant. His intentions are questionably evil since the Chosen race appears to be the most wicked of the others and to an extent can understand his reasoning. He commands a hoard of Aeniran spiriteshadows, monsters, and even Chosen warriors. If he was more involved instead of being behind Sushin most of the time and had a more satisfying final fight, he would have been much higher on my list.

6 – Melkor/Morgoth(Tolkin Chronicles): In the beginning of the world, he the greatest of the gods. Through envy, he has transformed himself into a satanic being bent on destruction. Even the purest of beings he could hash and twist into the most vial and disgusting things that ever roamed the earth. For so many years he struck fear into the world, and shattered it's source of light twice. Orcs, dragons, goblins, trolls and even more of nature's abominations follow at his feet. From then on the elves called him Morgoth, or “The Enemy.” Any villain from other generic fantasy novels wishes he was Morgoth.

5 – The Joker(Batman TDK): Some men don't want to gain much from evil, some men just want to watch the world burn. The Jokers job is to prove to those who forge order, that their plans are insignificant. As a sick criminal, he always seems to enjoy his job a little too much. No matter what he's doing he has a terrifying blood soaked smile across his face. As a breaker of systems he is also a breaker of sprites. Either by making two fairy boats hold each other hostage, or breaking the will of Gotham's “greatest” hero, he always causes a great amount of misery while he laughes at their misfortune. He never wants to actually kill Batman, because he makes the job fun.

4 – Ganondorf(Zelda): The Villain who wants to rule the world and captures girls as hostages or just for fun is overused. Back then it was the shit, and no one could do it quite like Ganondorf. His evil always causes Link to travel through dungeons and traps to have a final showdown. Ganondor however has some of the best boss battle in video games. In Ocarina Of Time, you faced him in a ping pong match with his own spells, while smashing his tail in the final form. In Twilight Princess you go through many stages, including a horse chase and a realistic sword dueling simulator. Oh such fun.

3 – Light Yagami/Kira(Deathnote): It's rare to see a villain that's easy to sympathize with such as Sharrakor or Cipher. Light is the main character and villain but I never thought I'd hear myself actually rooting for the villain. He believes that deterrence is the key to a better tomorrow, and even the dumbest of criminals should know they can't get away from a deathnote. Most fictional evil geniuses are people who can invent some ridiculously advanced machine and unleash hell, however, Light exposes his thought process and can outwit even the worlds most brilliant detectives. This way we can actually see just how sharp he really is. Since people don't know his true identity, he is referred to as Kira, or “Lord Of Death.”

2- Godzilla(Godzilla): Once a terrifying dinosaur, radiation has turned him in to an exponentially terrifying monster. Can't get much more awesome then smashing cities and shooting lasers out of your mouth that explode on impact. Godzilla is not only this giant monster, but only a few times has man invented a weapon to defeat him. Godzilla also has a variety of enemies in which he must fight for Japan. Either way, Japan's screwed. Back then, Godzilla was the symbol of destruction.

1 – Darth Vader(Star Wars): Darth Vader is one of the top agents in the imperial empire, who rule most of this galaxy that's far far away. He where's an awesome life support suite, and uses the power of the force to prevail. He can read/control minds, levitate objects, and fight with a light saber. He is followed by countless storm troopers, star destroyers and tie fighters. His main vessel is the Executor class star destroyer, a massive ship that can hold tons of payload and firepower. He's also a skilled pilot who can shoot down almost anything with his Tie X1. One thing that knocked my socks off was the fact that he's Luke's father. Imagine having your worst enemy the father you have always wanted to know. It's old news but it was incredible when I first saw it. Although he has become a slave to the dark side, there's still good in him. At the end he has a change of heart, then cast down the cruel emperor of the galaxy to save his own son. One thing that still sends chills down the rebel's spine is the cold breathing of the fallen one. The one who was once chosen to bring balance to the force.
